North Florida Gymnastics Does Cartwheels for the Ronald McDonald House!
We are teaming up with the Ronald McDonald House right here in Jacksonville to help local children and their families. For about the last 8 months we have been collecting pop-top lids for the Ronald McDonald House located at 824 Children's Way here in Jacksonville . For every 112 pop-top lids we collect, that is the equivalent of the length of one cartwheel. To date we have collected 420 “cartwheels”, which is 47,040 pop-tops. Our goal is 665 “cartwheels”, which will actually put us approximately 10,000 pop-top lids over the one mile marker of 63,360.
Once we reach our goal of 1 mile worth of cartwheels, we will make a grand donation to our local Ronald McDonald House and all the proceeds from the pop-tops will stay at this facility. You will see at the McDonald's restaurants a place to make donations, but these are distributed throughout the nation. Our donations will stay here on the First Coast to help benefit our families who may be in need of the services the Ronald McDonald House provides.
